It’s all very well deciding where to take your business, but if the staff aren’t ready for it, you’ll never get there. Whatever your mission, you need to ensure that you have a training and development strategy to support it. This is often referred to as the “top down” approach to staff development.
You may have some more immediate issues to resolve as part of your staff development which could be hindering you right now. Training needs may have already been identified as a situation has developed; this is often referred to as the “bottom-up” approach.
